Where the Works Stand — July 2026
Entries to date. Main works began April 2025. The underwater infrastructure phase runs through 2025 and 2026. Reported capacity is roughly 146 yachts. The developer is PT BTID, building inside the Kura Kura Bali special economic zone on Serangan Island — about fifteen minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport, between Sanur and Nusa Dua. The same zone lists The Grand Outlet with a reported opening of 31 July 2026 and is being directed toward the Indonesia Financial Center. Opening is phased from 2026; no date has been confirmed, and we will not invent one. When the operator publishes berth procedures, we will log them here.

Six Lines of Service, All Ours
Juara Holding has run boats, yards, and shore operations in Indonesia since 2015. Six divisions, one desk, one number to call.
Yacht Charter Across the Archipelago
Komodo Luxury runs its own fleet — the Komodo Prestige and Komodo Signature lines — plus Luxury Raja Ampat from Sorong. Not a listing aggregator: we charter what we operate, so answers come from the source.
02Phinisi Construction, Bulukumba-Built
Three yards: Tanjung Bira in Bulukumba, Labuan Bajo, and Boat Construction Indonesia. Hulls in Ulin ironwood and Bitti timber, raised the Konjo way — the craft UNESCO listed in 2017. One owner’s rep, oversight from keel to launch.
03Yacht Investment & Management
A hull that works Komodo May through September and Raja Ampat October through April earns across the whole calendar. We structure builds, charter management, and resale — with typical published charter ranges as the reference, not fantasy.
04Marina–Airport Transfers
Bali Premium Trip holds an Alphard, Vellfire, and Rolls-Royce fleet with VIP fast-track at Ngurah Rai, plus helicopter lift when the road is slow. The airport sits about fifteen minutes from Serangan; arrivals move on one booking.
05Superyacht & Maritime Security
Vessel security, maritime escort, and money escort under Bali Premium Trip’s security division. Quiet work done properly: guarded tenders, watched decks, valuables moved without ceremony. We brief owners and captains before arrival, not after.
06Yacht Film & Listing Media
Juara Production shoots yacht films, listing photography, and builds owner websites. A vessel sells or charters on how honestly and how well it is shown. We shoot on the water we work, with crews who know boats.

Berth-Fit & Draft Checker
Enter your yacht’s length overall and draft, tick the shore services you need, and the console matches you to a berth class from our published register — with an honest under-keel verdict and a prefilled message to the berthing desk. No prices, no availability claims: dimensions, depths and service scope only.

Passages from Serangan
-
01
Serangan
Home water. Serangan Island sits between Sanur and Nusa Dua on Bali’s southeast coast, about fifteen minutes by road from Ngurah Rai Airport. Departures start here.
02
Nusa Penida
A day passage east across the Badung Strait. Manta stations, steep limestone coast, and anchorages that reward an early start and a captain who reads the current.
03
Lombok & the Gilis
An overnight run east. The Gilis give clear water and easy tender landings; Lombok’s west coast gives shelter when the strait has its moods.
-
04
Komodo
Dragons, ripping currents, pink sand. The season runs May through September. Our own fleet works these waters; we know the anchorages by name.
05
Raja Ampat
The eastern season, October through April. We stage from Sorong through Luxury Raja Ampat. Fleets reposition here when Komodo closes — one hull, a full calendar.

On “the Monaco of Asia”
The phrase gets used, so we will weigh it honestly. Monaco’s Port Hercule and Fontvieille hold roughly 700 berths combined. Kura Kura Marina is reported at around 146 yachts, inside a special economic zone that also carries retail — The Grand Outlet, reported to open 31 July 2026 — and a stated direction toward the Indonesia Financial Center. “Monaco of Asia” is a marketing analogy, not a classification, and we log it as such.
What the comparison captures: a compact address where capital, berths, and services share one shoreline. What it cannot capture: Monaco commands a stretch of Riviera; a boat lying at Serangan commands 17,508 named islands, with Komodo and Raja Ampat as working seasons rather than day trips. Smaller harbor. Larger cruising ground. That is the honest trade — and it doesn’t need to borrow anyone’s name.

Why This Desk
We have kept boats working in Indonesian waters since 2015. Juara Holding operates its own charter fleet under Komodo Luxury, runs Luxury Raja Ampat out of Sorong, and builds hulls at three yards — including Tanjung Bira in Bulukumba, where Konjo builders raise Ulin and Bitti hulls by hand on the beach, the craft UNESCO listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2017. Add the shore side: VIP airport handling, an Alphard, Vellfire, and Rolls-Royce fleet, maritime security, and a production house for yacht film and listings. When the marina opens its gates, every service a visiting yacht needs on day one is already running.
We are not the developer and we do not sell berths. What we sell is competence around the berth: the charter, the build, the transfer, the guard on the passerelle, the film crew. Ask us a question and you get a straight answer or a straight “not yet known.” You get the broker’s version, not the brochure’s.
Kura Kura Marina FAQ
Pick a topic. Longer answers, sourced and dated, live on the full FAQ page.
Is Kura Kura Marina open?
Not yet. Main works started in April 2025, and the underwater infrastructure phase runs through 2025–2026. Opening is phased from 2026, and no date has been confirmed. We keep this page current from the desk; when a firm date is published, it will appear here before we say it anywhere else.
Is this the marina’s official website?
No, and we say so plainly. This is an independent information and yacht-services platform run by Juara Holding, a group working Indonesian waters since 2015. The marina is developed by PT BTID inside the Kura Kura Bali SEZ. For development matters, go to them. For boats, charters, builds, and shore services, our desk answers.
Can I book a berth now?
No — and we will not take a deposit against inventory that does not exist. The operator has not published berth procedures, and we make no berth promises. What you can do today: run your LOA, beam, and draft through the berth-fit checker so your file is ready the day allocation opens. Official procedures will appear in our status section as they land.
What does a yacht charter cost in Indonesia?
Typical published broker ranges run from US$35,000–80,000 per week for boutique phinisi of 30–45 meters, from US$80,000–150,000 for luxury vessels of 40–65 meters, and from US$150,000–250,000 and up at the ultra end. Season, itinerary, and vessel condition move the number. Ask our desk for a firm quote on our own fleet — those figures we can stand behind directly.
Can a foreign-flagged yacht base at the marina?
Foreign-flagged yachts cruise Indonesian waters every season under the national clearance and permit regime, and those rules are revised often enough that last year’s answer can be this year’s fine. As for basing at Kura Kura Marina, no berthing terms have been published yet. Message the desk with your flag, LOA, and intended season, and we will walk you through the current requirements and the agents who handle them.
